Smacked Down 

 

Smacked Down is a 2-player, miniature agnostic, tabletop skirmish game set inside the world of independent professional wrestling. 

 

About the Game

 

The creator of Smacked Down, John Kero, is a lifelong professional wrestling and tabletop gaming fan. Taking influence from countless hours spent in childhood playing wrestling video games like Here Comes the Pain and the Smackdown VS Raw series, John looked to take that experience from the television and onto the tabletop. This, mixed with his current love for OSR TTRPGs and tabletop skirmish games like Forbidden Psalm, he has mixed all of these influences into a stew he calls Smacked Down. 

 

Teaming up with the artist on instagram known as @i.wanna.puke, an edgy, gritty look permeates the artwork of Smacked Down as to best incapsulate the feeling of being packed into a 100 person venue to watch the modern day gladiators known as professional wrestlers do battle. Together they have unleashed an all new game that is sure to thrill both die hard wrestling fans and tabletop enthusiasts alike. 

The game relies on a d6 system and is meant for fast character creation, fast rules, and fast game play. Players are guided through Smacked Down's robust character creation suite utilizing tables to generate looks, name, and moveset so players can jump into the action as soon as possible.

 

Ideal for small or cramped living arrangements, all that is necessary to play Smacked Down is a 12" x 12" grid, two 28mm scale models, and 6d6. Smacked Down is the ideal game for a in between longer games as a pallet cleanser or it can be stretched out with multiple games to simulate running your own wrestling show!

 

Included in the core game are 3 scenarios for play - Standard Match, Submission Match, and Last Man Standing Match. This gives players a chance to switch up game play with quick, digestible rules and also
